           Hairy Coo &amp;amp; Co is a family-run business based in Dunkeld, Scotland, specialising in creating iconic Highland coo-themed and Scottish-inspired gifts. The brand is beloved for its vibrant and quirky designs, which have made it a popular choice for both locals and tourists looking for a piece of Scottish culture.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           The team approached us with a clear vision. They wanted a fresh, cohesive brand identity that would help tie their diverse range of products together and establish a more recognisable image in the marketplace. The goal was to maintain the fun, playful spirit of the brand across all their packaging while appealing to a broader audience and ensuring that each product felt part of the same family.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           We began the project by sitting down with Sheila and Emma, the mother-daughter duo behind Hairy Coo &amp;amp; Co, to gain a deeper understanding of their vision. They shared their aspirations for the brand and the type of emotional connection they wanted to create with their customers. It was clear that they wanted a design that felt modern and youthful, yet still reflected the unique Scottish heritage of their products. (They also wanted lots of pink and orange!)
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           With this in mind, our design team got to work. They began by exploring a bright and bold colour palette that would communicate the vibrancy and creativity central to Hairy Coo’s identity.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
&lt;div data-rss-type="text"&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Initial concepts revolved around a striking pink and orange colour combination. This bold choice was intended to evoke energy. The early iterations were dynamic, eye-catching, and aligned with the playful spirit of the products.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           However, early feedback from suppliers indicated that the bold colour scheme, while impactful, needed some adjustments to better align with the expectations of retailers. Recognising the importance of creating a design that would work across various product categories and retail environments, we returned to the studio to refine the look.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           We simplified the design with a soft cream background adding pops of bright colours to provide visual interest without overwhelming the design. This adjustment struck the perfect balance between modernity and elegance, while maintaining the distinctive character of Hairy Coo &amp;amp; Co.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           To achieve a high quality premium look we opted for litho printing to ensure consistent colour quality across all products. The addition of soft-touch lamination gives luxurious tactile experience and helps to protect the packaging. The final results look amazing, and the feedback has been great!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

            Hairy Coo &amp;amp; Co’s new brand identity is more than just the packaging, it is visible across all platforms and successfully captures the essence of what the business is all about, fun, creativity, and Scottish charm.            We wanted to create something that not only told our story but also demonstrated the breadth of finishing options we offer. Every page is packed with tactile examples of the techniques that elevate print, from luxurious foiling and crisp embossing to precision die cuts and custom kiss cut labels. Whether you're flipping through it for inspiration or looking to get a feel for our capabilities, it’s a hands-on experience of what makes print so powerful.

           On Thursday, the Winter &amp;amp; Simpson team had the fantastic opportunity to take part in Spirit of the Marines – a high-energy, team-building day organised by Dundee &amp;amp; Angus Chamber of Commerce and hosted by 45 Commando, Royal Marines, in partnership with the Highland Reserve Forces and Cadets Association (HRFCA).
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           From fast-paced challenges to problem-solving under pressure, the event truly tested our teamwork, strength, and ability to laugh through the unexpected!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           It was an unforgettable experience packed with learning, connection, and a great deal of camaraderie. We’re proud of how our team supported each other, stepped up as leaders, and made the most of every moment - We even won the stretcher race!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
